Description

JAG is the third largest
performing arts organization in Columbus and its Columbus Jazz Orchestra
subscription base of 2,100 is the largest in the city and of jazz organizations
in the US. JAG presents performances and educational programs at the Southern
Theatre; Lincoln Theatre; Columbus Zoo; a variety of venues in the region; and,
nationally, including the prestigious Vail Bravo! Series. Its newly opened Jazz Academy at the Lincoln
Theatre is a model for arts instruction and community engagement. It has two
components: Jazz in Community and Jazz in
Schools.
