Mission Statement

Bravo Vail Valley Music Festival's mission is to enhance the cultural life of Eagle County, Colorado through the organization and presentation of classical and popular music programs at the highest international artistic level; to foster the performing arts - music, dance, and theater; to promote public education in the arts; and to provide an additional cultural dimension to the summer season that attracts summer visitors in large numbers for longer stays thereby contributing to the cultural and economic well-being of Eagle County.

Description

The Bravo Vail Valley Music Festival was incorporated in 1987 as a private 501(c)(3) Colorado non-profit corporation. A presenting organization with the majority of its performances during the summer, the Festival operates under the guidance of a Board of Trustees, a National Advisory Board, and an outstanding artistic and administrative staff.

In its 25-year history, it has been the vision of the Festival to fill the Rocky Mountain Region with programs of variety, integrity, and artisitc standards that rival any national or international music festival. The Festival has grown from a weekend-long chamber music series into a six-week festival with more than 80 concerts and events and a year-round Music Matters education program.
