Mission Statement

WINN Ministries is dedicated to providing local churches with the resources to help people in their neighborhoods. This is done through (1) provisions of food, clothing, and household goods for the needy, (2) information and referrals to community resources, and (3) teaching and coaching to empower community outreach.

Description

WINN Ministries is a unique community revitalization system that brings basic Christian principles into focus and applies them to the neighborhood through the local church. Founded in 2000, WINN Ministries has grown to three Denver-area locations of storehouses and community resource centers, affiliated with several hundred churches and ministries. All staff members of WINN work as non-salaried volunteers. In the last twelve months WINN has provided over 200 tons of clothing, food, and household goods to more than 14,000 families through churches and ministries in the Denver area. On a monthly basis, over 200 churches and ministries participate in WINN's programs. Through local churches, WINN has supplied mission teams in 23 foreign countries and two native American reservations.
