Description

In September 1992, the first Habitat for Humanity ReStore in the U.S. opened its doors in Austin, Texas. ReStore resale outlets provide an environmentally and socially responsible way to keep good, reusable materials out of the waste stream while providing funding for Habitat’s community improvement work. Today, with approximately 700 stores strong in 3 countries and growing, the Habitat ReStores sell everything from household items to furniture to building materials.
