Mayor Rawlings Blake and Baltimore Housing are taking a new approach to address the blight that decades of property abandonment and disinvestment has caused to Baltimore's neighborhoods and its residents.

Description

The Vacants to Value initiative seeks to drive growth andreinvestment in Baltimore's neighborhoods by streamlining the sale of vacant city property; strengthening code enforcement efforts in transitional blocks and emerging markets by providing new, targeted incentives for homebuyers anddevelopers who invest in vacant homes.
