Mission Statement

The mission of Jack Yates High School is to prepare students to become productive, responsible, lifelong learners, who are well prepared to succeed and contribute to the global society through character building, pride, and achievement. We will ensure student success through a safe and supportive learning environment while maintaining high expectations for all.

Description

We are recruiting volunteers to work with us that have sports knowledge and that also work well with kids. Volunteer must have vaild state ID upon coming to volunteer for this event. We are hosting a Sports combine as a recruiting tool to draw 8th grade students to attend Yates High School. We will be showing our entire school (what we have in place academic wise and athletics wise).

Being a graduate of Yates, I feel it is only right to go back and support my alma mater and give back to young kids that coming up and graduating from Yates. And it feels so good to watch the kids grow and become responsible adults just as I did and someone did for me. It is all about reaching back down and pulling someone else up so they too become all they can be.
