TheKidLab: TheKidLab will supports underserved young entrepreneurs and early-stage web and mobile ventures in Bay Area and Silicon Valley through education, collaboration, research and execution. Objective: Our objective is to work with partners in the business and technology community to encourage entrepreneurship across America and to improve the education of our youth. Mission: Our mission is to foster innovation and entrepreneurship in youth as a way of creating innovative, commercially viable, and socially beneficial businesses and employment opportunities in the United States.

Description

TheKidLab program will be launched February 11, 2012. Our team is in the process of planning several innovative class sessions for youth regarding mobile app development and entrepreneurship. We are also in the process of producing a 100% mobile innovation contest whereby youth across America will be able to participate in an American Idol type contest called America’s Top Young Innovator. The goal of the contest is to inspire youth to create unique mobile app businesses that will attract customers quickly prompting venture capitalist to provide seed funding for expansion. In addition to building a great online working model, youth will also be judged on how fast they can amass customers. More details to come...
