Mission Statement

Transform Your life - Transform the World. UCC Young Adult Service Communities (11-months) and Summer Communities of Service (UCC & Alliance of Baptists) involve young adults in community living, direct service, justice advocacy, leadership development in a local congregation, and faith conversations. Adults of all ages serve in a variety of service settings throughout the United States through the UCC Partners in Service program.

Description

UCC Volunteer Ministries coordinates full-time volunteer opportunities for adults over 18 years placed in individual service settings. 21-30 years olds serve in Young Adult Service Communities for 11 month periods. Summer Communities of Service are intentional communities for 19-30 year olds for a 10 week period. UCC Volunteer Ministries also coordinates sites for group mission trip opportunities. It is part of the national setting of the United Church of Christ.
