Mission Statement

The mission of La Semilla Learning Center is to nuture academic success in a Christ-centered atmosphere. We value expressing God's love through providing a creative environment which fosters excitement about learning recognizing each child as precious and uniquely created by God encouraging all to grow in their relationship with God partnering with churches and organizations

Description

La Semilla Learning Center offers free after school homework help and academic enrichment to inner-city Santa Ana elementary school students. With the exception of our Director we are an all volunteer non-profit organization.

When I first started with La Semilla I so encouraged that I could work with such a small group of kids every week. I felt like I was really able to create a deep relationship with the kids and get to know them on a deeper level.
