Mission Statement

Hi there! Beacon Hospice of Framingham is looking for individuals that would like to volunteer a little time each week to hospice patients. The needs of our patients are simple - hold their hand, listen to them, play some soft music, read to them, be a calm presence. It is amazing at how much just a little of our time means to them.

We currently have volunteers with a variety of backgrounds. Everyone has some special they can contribute to our patients. We are also interested in those that have small dogs to join our pet therapy program.

Scheduling your visits with our patients is simple! You can visit during the morning hours, in the evening on your way home from work, and even on weekends!

Beacon Hospice of Framingham is a fun group of professionals that work as a team to support a wonderful cause. Come and be a part of a tremendous opportunity by giving the gift of a friendly visit to hospice patients.
