By helping families achieve long-term home ownership, Hearts & Hands is helping them attain countless benefits related to home ownership, which in turn enables them to contribute to the overall stability and improvement of the neighborhood. We envision that one day, the near Westside of Indianapolis will once again be a safe, thriving area. We focus both on helping individual families prepare for home ownership through education and strategic mentoring, and on transforming abandoned houses in the Haughville area into safe, healthy, and welcoming homes that these families can purchase and be proud to own.

Our work is dependent on volunteers who help rehabilitate the house and spread the good word about Hearts & Hands. Join us and let's rehab together, one house at a time!
