Mission Statement

Vacaville PAL strives to provide alternative activities to delinquency and build a common bond between youth, and the community. In addition, we continue to function collaboratively with components of the City of Vacaville and outside agencies to promote responsibility, accountability, and community involvement.

Description

PAL is one if the oldest citizen-building youth programs in the nation. It builds friendships between law enforcement officers and children within the community. The recreation component of Vacaville PAL encourages socialization while building self-esteem and a sense of community. Our staff and volunteers have the opportunity to be a trusted authority figure that assists children with finding guidance, setting goals, and enjoying new life opportunities. PAL is a traditional American program where one generation responsibly shares its wisdom and helps kids learn to work together to be responsible for themselves, as well as set goals in their lives.
