Providing social, physical, spiritual and mental stimulation while maintaining individuality.
For more than 30 years, HAP Enterprises has provided care and support to people in Beaver County who need assistance in gaining personal independence at home and in their communities through a number of services including an adult day care, residential services and child development programs. In 1999, HAP Enterprises extended that service to create HAP Senior Care, a non-profit organization that provides assisted living, personal care, and adult day care services to seniors living in and around Beaver County. In November 2002, HAP Senior Care opened Beaver Meadows, the areaâ  s newest, and only locally owned and managed, non-profit assisted living/personal care community. Located in a scenic wooded area, and professionally landscaped with a waterfall and pond, Beaver Meadows is an 82-bed community located in Brighton Township at the former site of the Tusca Drive-In. The facility was built using all fire-resistant construction methods and materials, as well as a state-of-the-art emergency response and sprinkler systems; and features an on-site director and all single floor residences. In addition, the Beaver Meadows management team has more than 70 years of combined experience serving the residents of Beaver County. â  Beaver Meadows provides a safe, comfortable and relaxed atmosphere that seniors can call home,â  said Glenn S. Sipos, Chief Executive Officer of HAP Senior Care. â  In addition, our non-profit status enables us to offer a superior blend of services, programs and amenities at the most affordable price. We can focus our efforts more on maintaining high levels of care and service, rather than focusing on return on investment like most for-profit organizations.â  Life at Beaver Meadows offers the most comprehensive blend of daily living, medical, leisure, and social programs and services, including a chapel, on-site transportation, beauty shop, barber shop, physical and occupational therapy areas, dining room, and activity rooms. Residents can choose from semi-private, private and suite accommodations. All furnishings are provided, but residents are encouraged to bring their own furnishings and decorations if preferred, creating the same comfortable environment theyâ  ve experienced throughout their lives. Beaver Meadows offers cost-effective, quality care that is tailored towards individual needs. Each resident is carefully evaluated, and a care level is determined. And, with prices starting at $65/day, Beaver Meadows offers the best value in Beaver County. In fact, current residents cite its low cost, along with the daily living amenities and the on-site director as primary reasons for choosing Beaver Meadows. In the short time since opening, Beaver Meadows has shown its dedication to the Beaver County community with events such as a car cruise and luncheons for various community groups. Currently, Beaver Meadows is working with investment firm Janney Montgomery Scott to develop the Beaver Meadows Community Service Seminar Series. Future events include a Veterans Luncheon and Movie Night â  paying tribute to the Tusca Drive-In, the business that formerly occupied the land where Beaver Meadows was built. Beaver Meadows provides numerous conveniences and services designed to make everyday living more stimulating and rewarding. As the newest â  and only non-profit assisted living community in the area â  Beaver Meadows offers the best combination of quality, comfort, services and cost.
