Description

On August 28th 2011 our region of Upstate New York was devastated by the effects of Hurricane Irene. Homes, schools, businesses, were either severely damaged or completely destroyed, roads coming into the communities were covered with flood waters and some completely washed away. We were again struck with a second blow on September 7th when Tropical Storm Lee hit adding insult to injury. Our residents are trying to cope with the loss of thier homes, belongings and some their livelyhood, we are starting the rebuild process as well as the healing process and we are in need of help.
