Here's a sample of our volunteer opportunities:VIEW AS
We at St. Ann are committed to providing comfort, dignity and hope through professional staff, who are sensitive and understanding, filled with compassion, to apply state of the art pain management skills to control and manage symptoms, one patient at a time, regardless of their race, color, gender, or nationality. All our services are based on the needs of care, not the ability to pay. We believe and treat each patient, as one of own family member. We will support and serve the families of each patient - we will help them understand how to cope with their pain and grief; this is an ideas whose time has come.
This is St. Ann Hospice.
A t St. Ann Hospice, we understand that pain and it's control often becomes a factor in achieving our goal of patient comfort throughout care. We understand that other factors such as emotional, social, and the environment also play a part in determining overall comfort.
O ur staff continually strive to provide all our patients with the most advanced and up to date comfort measures, such as the proper use and combination of different types of pain medication obtained through a physician, tailored for each patient's comfort needs.
W e train and educate our staff with emphasis on the special needs of Hospice patients, and to ensure that each patient and their loved ones are treated as one of our own family, with understanding and loving care.
