Mission Statement

Drawing on the compassion and strength of the community, Centro de Esperanza is dedicated to providing support, resources, and education for low-income and immigrant families through collaborative efforts. CDE makes a commitment to empower individuals and families to break the cycle of generational poverty.

Description

CDE is a grassroots family resource center in a low-income, immigrant community in North King County. Based at Woodin Elementary School, we work in collaboration with a variety of social and human service organizations in the Northshore. The goals of the center are to increase academic achievement, meet basic needs, and strengthen the community while building the capacity for continued success.
