Mission Statement
Festival of Trees, an annual benefit for the Children's Hospital of Michigan Foundatin, is a special event for the community, coordinated through volunteer efforts and dedicated to funding research into the causes and cures of childhood diseases. It bonds volunteers, the hospital and the community in providing revenue for Children's Hospital of Michigan's Evergreen Endowment Fund. The volunteers are dedicated to maintaining the continued growth, scope and integrity of Festival of Trees.
Description
Festival of Trees is the largest special event fundraiser for the Children's Hospital of Michigan Foundation. Funds raised support pediatric research. Children's Hospital of Michigan Foundation is the only beneficiary of funds raised by festival of Trees.
The Evergreen Endowment was established to generate funds received from festival of Trees to provide financial support for pediatric research.
Today, the Evergreen Endowment has grown to over 15 million dolloars, and has funded over 8 million dollars in research grants.
Festival of Trees is a public display of professionally decorated trees, gingerbread houses, wreaths, a festive gift shop, children's activities, and so much more!
