Room One is a non-profit health and social service center located in the Methow Valley of North Central Washington. Our organization aims to consolidate existing health and social services, decrease domestic violence, increase parent and child health, and increase young-adult life skills.
Room One’s programs include a Domestic Violence prevention and response program, a health and social services Resource and Referral Center, the Healthy Relationships & Sexuality Program at the public schools, Red Shed Produce -- providing high quality organic vegetables at no cost to low-income families, a Mothering group, a Breast Cancer Support Group, Childbirth Education Classes, various support and educational groups, and much, much more.
Room One also hosts Classroom In Bloom, Okanogan Family Planning; Women, Infants and Children (WIC) -- a program for pregnant and parenting women with children under five; and Career Path Services.
Room One is supported by our strong and generous community. Being a community supported organization means we can directly respond to the specific needs of our community.
