Welcome to our Family of Volunteers!
It is with great pleasure we welcome you as a volunteer for Wichita Festivals, Inc. You’re becoming part of our community’s oldest and most respected event producing organization and you are vital to our success.
During the Wichita River Festival, Autumn and Art, and other WFI events, our community comes together to celebrate all that is good about Wichita, while at the same time attracting visitors from all over the State of Kansas and the US. You’ll be helping us showcase our city and its residents.
Volunteers are the heart of our organization. With over 4500 volunteers, we could not have events with out our volunteers.
As you work at your particular volunteer assignment, remember you are representing Wichita Festivals and the City ofWichita. You help create the warmth and hospitality enjoyed by our guests. We encourage you to greet people you meet with an enthusiastic smile and warm welcome, just as you would greet a guest in your home. People may forget what you say or do, but they will never forget how you made them feel.
