To advance educational opportunities for Hispanic women and their families, to celebrate and to teach others about our culture, and to become active participants in the community

Description

The Hispanic Women's Organization is a non-profit organization founded in July 1999 by a group of women, mostly Hispanic, concerned with their families' wellbeing and their community. Since then, the group has been actively involved in numerous endeavors. HWOA appreciates and values harmony across cultures. HWOA's community events are based on respect for existing communtiy traditions while introducing new elements of Hispanic cultures.
