The mission of Fortis Academy is to encourage a positive community school, which promotes values, parental involvement and a strong sense of academic achievement.

Description

Fortis Academy, managed by National Heritage Academies (NHA) and authorized by Bay Mills Community College was founded in the spring of 2004. Fortis Academy opened on August 25, 2004 providing education to 355 students in grades K-5. Now in its seventh year of operation, and we welcomed over 700 students from the greater Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti Community each day to a world of learning, friendships, and educational quality by challenging each child to achieve. One of our major focuses is on college readiness and preparing our students’ to be the best.
