Mission Statement
Strings for Hope is committed to financially supporting the physical, educational and spiritual needs of our communities, both locally and globaly thorough the sales of wearable art created of recycled strings from musical instruments.
Description
Strings for Hope proudly introduces great pieces of wearable art composed from recycled strings from musical instruments donated by some of the country's most talented musicians.
Musical instrument strings are constructed using mixed metals making them non-recyclable in traditional manners, as a result they end up in landfills. We take those strings and combine them with vintage beads and findings to create unique handcrafted wearable art in the forms of bracelets, necklaces and rings for both men and women.
Proceeds from items sold through Strings for Hope are directed to food distribution programs and healthcare clinics regionally in Kentucky and Tennessee and globally in Honduras, Haiti, India, Dominican Republic, and Africa.
