The mission of the Monroe County Humane Association is to responsibly and compassionately lead, advocate, and educate for animal welfare in our communities.

Description

The MCHA, founded in 1956, is an animal welfare and protection non-profit providing: humane education programming, advocacy and lobbying, emergency/disaster response, low-cost vaccination clinics, spay/neuter assistance(SNAP Program), VIPaws Pet Therapy Program, Paws and Claws Kids Camp, Middle School Animal Advocacy Club and much more!

The MCHA is a seperate non-profit, but sister organization to the City of Bloomington Animal Shelter.
