Mission Statement

AZ Common Ground exists to bridge the gap between individuals being released from incarceration and the communities to which they return. We will assist men and women in breaking the life cycles that contribute to recidivism and help them transition back into society to lead healthy and productive lives. We will educate communities about re-entry and crime prevention to eliminate fear and engage them in the solutions that will change society’s view of re-entry.

Description

When AZ Common Ground successfully achieves our mission, the communities we serve will experience:

* A reduced rate of recidivism.

* A reduced rate of crime among juvenile and adults.

*A greater resident engagement in re-entry projects that improve the health of the community.

We accomplish these objectives through life skills training, workforce development, job referrals and placement, and community activities
