Mission Statement

Our mission is simple: Access to books for children in need. The only significant factor impacting literacy among the poor is number of books in the home. We put new books into children's homes and educate their parents about the importance of literacy and reading.

As a First Book Denver Metro volunteer you can help make a difference in the Denver area by organizing fundraisers, reaching out to eligible programs and providing new books for children.
