Mission Statement

It is the mission of the SPCA Albrecht Center to provide for the welfare of animals by: operating and maintaining a no-kill shelter for adoptable animals in our care, administering affordable spay and neuter surgeries, educating the public about the proper care and treatment of animals, supporting efforts to combat animal abuse by cultivating partnerships with rescue and animal control entities, and sharing the SPCA Albrect Center's vision with the greater community. Our mission is achieved through the dedicated efforts of SPCA employees and volunteers. It also hinges upon commitment, support and responsibility from our community.

Description

The SPCA Albrecht Center for Animal Welfare s an organization fighting for the welfare of animals. We find homes for over 95% of the homeless animals we help and we average over 250 shelter animals in our care and place over 1200 animals annually. The Center’s affordable, full-service Veterinary Care Center offers spay and neuter surgeries and wellness visits for shelter pets and the area’s publicly-owned pets.
