Mission Statement
Operation Dignity assists homeless veterans and their families. We provide emergency, transitional and permanent housing for homeless veterans in Alameda County, California. We also offer comprehensive support services, nutritious meals and a strong peer community. Our goal is to help veterans rediscover hope and provide the tools needed to live a self-sufficient and stable life.
Description
Since 1993, Operation Dignity has provided shelter, housing, street outreach, and supportive services to people experiencing homelessness in Alameda County, with a special focus on veterans in partnership with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
Last year, we served more than 800 people, including some of the most vulnerable individuals experiencing homelessness in Alameda County.
