The EarthCare in Unity Group has a deep concern about the role humans play in climate change. Our vision is to live in unity with Creation. Our mission is to discern ways of bringing this vision into reality.

The Earth Care in Unity Group seeks, with spiritual guidance, to build community with people from all walks of life by learning, working, planning, taking action and having fun together as we work toward our goals.

Description

Unity Church has initiated several sustainable projects in Fayetteville, Ark. The CommUnity gardens offer fresh, local and organic produce to the community. They are ran by the community, for the community. A percentage of the food goes to a charitable organization that help battered women of northwest Arkansas. Another project is the prairie restoration landscape project. It is geared towards removing invasive species and replacing them with Ozark natives, which provide habitat for pollinators and birds, offers stormwater management, will be educational for visitors, and adds value to the community.
