Mission Statement

WADV Inc. Mission Statement Women Against Domestic Violence, Inc. (WADV) is a group of women from around the world who have joined together in the fight against Domestic Violence. Through the use of our online group, we offer women survivors and current victims of Domestic Violence a forum by which to discuss their issues and problems and to seek solutions and support. The goal of WADV is to provide a safe haven for victims and survivors alike, by perpetuating awareness and education to our communities, in an effort to change societal viewpoints on Domestic Violence. Changing attitudes and misnomers that will help eradicate DV by asking the question "Why do they continue to abuse", instead of "Why do they stay". It is our desire that no one who has been or is being abused think they are alone in the fight. All women who have been abused or are being abused are accepted regardless of religion, sexual preference, ethnicity, etc. Confidentiality and safety are among the highest priorities of WADV, Inc. For the purposes of this organization, the following forms of abuse are: emotional, mental, psychological, economical/financial, verbal, sexual and physical.
