Mission Statement

The Westbrook School Department recognizes that the thorough and efficient education of children is its primary statutory-based responsibility. To this end, the School Committee considers proper and adequate support of schools to be a civic responsibility shared by all citizens.

Description

Canal Elementary School is going through big changes to assure that each student in the school is able to succeed. The dedicated staff of Canal keeps the "eyeballs" of every child in mind as they work to individualize their understanding of each child as a learner. Volunteers are needed to increase the amount of eyeball time each child recieves.
