Our mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment where low income young adult men and women who desire training and mentoring in life skills and who are intentional toward change that will produce a meaningful and productive lifestyle can grow to a greater sense of maturity through community living.

Description

The Stillwater House is a home for 14 low income young adults ages 18-29 who need a safe, affordable place to live and who desire to be mentored into living a meaningful and fruitful lifestyle. The Stillwater House offers the opportunity to make up for lost time and lost opportunities of youth through employment skills training, educational counseling, life-skills training on personal finances, conflict resolution, self-discipline, and healthy interpersonal relationships. The mission of this program is to nurture and grow the participants in becoming contributing members of this or any community in their future.
