Mission Statement

To offer both financial and peer-based support to widowed parents and their dependent children through a variety of FUN family activities and "healing" family retreats throughout the year.

Description

Since I became a widow 29 months ago, I have been proactive in seeking and creating positive solutions and support systems for myself and my children.

I have attended more than 200 support groups. Many of these groups focused more on grief instead of offering solutions and ways for widowed parents and their children to rebuild a positive and constructive life.

I am proud to announce that within less than 7 months, I have been able to seek out people and support systems that have helped me to create a "FUN" non-profit organization called Wise Widowed Parents, Inc.
