Mission Statement

RAW believes that every kid should be seen and heard. Our mission is to "ignite the desire to create and the confidence to succeed in underserved youth."

Description

RAW provides 43 free arts programs to youth ages 6-19 and our young alumni including an award-winning film school, visual arts groups, single-gender groups, leadership development programs for youth, community art-making opportunities, youth employment, and career/college access.

I was a Theatrical Arts major at Salem State a few years after which I traveled for a year performing in the Up With People program. I have lived and worked around the U.S.A. Mexico, and Japan. I studied business for three years in Hawaii. and I would like to volunteer and finish my degree before searching for work. I am from Lynn and proud of it ! I would like to move back to the area and volunteer for Raw Art Works. I have a niece that participated in the art program there in Lynn a few years ago and she enjoyed it very much and she is in college now with a 4.0 GPA !
