Mission Statement

To provide youth an experiential education along the rivers and in the canyons of the Colorado Plateau in an effort to promote environmental awareness, community involvement, personal growth, and teamwork among people of diverse backgrounds.

Description

Grand Canyon Youth facilitates programs for middle school and high school youth. The program includes community service, educational project and a river trip. Grand Canyon Youth programs are open to youth from around the country. River programs are on the Colorado River through Grand Canyon National Park and the San Juan River.
