The organizational mission of Youth With A Purpose Boys Home, Inc. is "to allow the love and salvation of Jesus Christ to be applied to young lives through the YWAP program and its human facilitators. It is our desire to see the redemptive work of Christ help give direction, purpose, and motivation to many willing boys to serve God, become productive men, and good husbands and fathers."

Description

Youth With A Purpose Boys Home, Inc. (YWAP) is a non-denominational Christian Ministry dedicated to the welfare of troubled boys ages 8-17. YWAP is located on a luscious 86 acre farm in Salineville, Ohio. Group programming is facilitated in a five bedroom home with independent living facilities available on-site for youth who choose to stay past the age of 17. YWAP provides a group-based, family-type home setting to an average of 20 youth a year with no cost to the parent. Over 200 boys have been served since the program's inception. "The success of our program is based on our boys becoming productive members of the community," explains founders Robert & Kate Moore. "Some of our boys have come back to volunteer for us, others have joined the service, and many have gone on to become decent husbands and fathers. If our boys are contributing to society, then they are successful."
