I have served on the board of directors for 4 years and I am currently serving in my second term. In all my years working with community organizations and non profits I must say this has been by far one of the best group of board members I have worked with. Their excellence comes from their professional experience and their personal integrity. 3/6have experience in the fire service, disaster and emergency medical services. 6/6 have extensive management experience. Our volunteers bring a diverse background. Our past and new Fire Chief both are retired firefighters from Longview Fire Dept. Several other members have experience as paid fire fighters. They are a dedicated cohesive, hard working group. The recent wild fires in East Texas have well substantiated this claim. Please consider volunteering either as fire fighters or auxiliary members.
