Mission Statement

Friends of Mid-City West is a California nonprofit 501c3 corporation dedicated to improving the quality of life in our greater Los Angeles community. By actively raising funds for our programs, we support projects that align with our vision for a better neighborhood.

Description

Friends of Mid-City West supports the following programs:

Education:
local schools from elementary to college level.

Arts and Music:
Performances, art installations, and the Miracle Mile Art Walk.

Neighborhood Beautification:
Streets and Parks improvements.

Civic support:
Fire, Police, Water quality, Recreation, Senior Citizens, and issues pertaining to the prevention of Homelessness.

Transportation:
Includes Bicycle paths and mass transit. Green programs: recycling.
