Description
We are in 7 national markets. Originated in NY and headquarters is still there. Other cities include Chicago, Philadelphia, LA, Virginia Beach, Washington D.C. and in Arizona, the entire state in included. We work with the school districts to upgrade home ec kitchens to professional status and encourage a professional kitchen atmosphere. Many schools now have chefs as instructors and we also try to match promising students with "culinary coaches," jobs and offer field trips. We also provide scholarships to attend culinary and/or hospitality colleges across the country. Over $10 million in scholarships has been awarded nationally since the founding in 1990. We also arrange for donated food and equipment to help cash-strapped schools to stretch their limited budgets. Almost $2 million in products have been donated
