Description
Justice for New Americans is a California public benefit corporation formed to educate New Americans in the United States and help them advocate for their basic civil rights. We work to dispel the myth, believed by many New Americans, that "if [we] just work hard and don't make a lot of noise then things will be all right for [us.]" Justice for New Americans gives much needed organizational support to immigrant citizens like ourselves and broadens our individual capacities for understanding and sustaining our own civil rights, especially during times of national crisis. Justice for New Americans continues to fight for justice for Dr. Wen Ho Lee through presidential pardon petitions, documentation of his case, artistic performance and book publishing. Justice for New Americans reviews and advocates on behalf of New Americans whose basic constitutional rights and due process are violated
