Rebuilding Together is the leading national volunteer organization that, in partnership with the community, rehabilitates the houses of low income homeowners, particularly people with disabilities, the elderly and families with children so that they may continue to live in warmth, safety and independence.

Description

Rebuilding Together provides assistance to people who own their home, but who, because of physical limitation or income, are not able to cover the costs of home repair. Rebuilding Together volunteers help restore dignity and quality of life to homeowners, who otherwise could "slip through the cracks." Typically, these individuals are low income and/or have a disability and/or are elderly. Specifically, Rebuilding Together seeks to help (free of charge) low-income homeowners continue to live in their homes by improving the access, safety and warmth of the residenc
