Volunteer Macon, Inc. is a comprehensive volunteer action center established in 1973. The center is designated as a 501.c3 and is registered as a non-profit, charity organization inGeorgia. Our mission is to be a volunteer center that mobilizes people and resources to deliver creative solutions to community problems. The vision statement of the organization is as follows: Maconand the middleGeorgiaarea will be a community where volunteers of all walks of life address and solve our community’s critical problems.

Description

VolunteerMaconis dedicated to resolve community problems utilizing volunteers in effective practice. Over the last 33 years we have developed solid working relationships with a variety of community agencies and organizations, including schools, faith based groups, arts programs, social services, healthcare providers, literacy programs, homeless programs and a variety of other community based initiatives. The volunteer center has established a commitment to improving the quality of life for older adults in the community, providing volunteer options for older individuals for over 30 years.
