Description

Humboldt high school offers many extracurricular activities, one of them being the Humboldt Debate Program. Offered as a class during the school day, students learn about the basics of Policy Debate. The class is offered to middle schoolers (7th-8th grade) and high schoolers (9th-12th) and are given opportunities to participate on weekends at tournaments. The goals of the class to teach students about politics and government, speaking skills and the confidence to go forward with their opinions.
