Description

Mewtopia Cat Rescue is a Tennessee nonprofit corporation formed in May 2000 and staffed entirely by volunteers. In addition to our cat adoption center, we have a retail shop with cat related products. We are dedicated to providing a no-kill haven for homeless, abused, abandoned, or owner-relinquished cats and kittens until they are placed in permanent, loving indoor homes and to educating the public on the ethical treatment of animals and responsible cat ownership.

I love volunteering at Mewtopia. I really enjoy being surrounded by the cats and kittens. They are well cared for. Mewtopia is run entirely by volunteers. It is a very rewarding and fun experience!

Mewtopia Cat Rescue is run completely by volunteers - volunteers that love kittens and cats. This love is obvious through the way the Mewtopia volunteers take care of the kittens and/or cat that call Mewtopia home until a permanent family can be found. Because Mewtopia is a volunteer led organization, there are many opportunities to volunteer in various capacities and at various times.
