Mission Statement

San Francisco is the heart of both independent film and the global green movement. Together they can be the catalyst for massive environmental change on a local and global scale. Be part of San Francisco’s leading festival of films and discussions about people and the planet. See you at the Green Film Fest 2017, April 20-26, 2017 and our screenings and socials throughout the year. Launched in 2011, SFGFF presents an annual film festival each Spring as well as year-round community screenings and events in the San Francisco Bay Area. We program films that inspire, inform and motivate audiences on the most pressing environmental issues. Filmmakers are bringing us documentaries that uncover new territory or providing new information for the audience. We want to instigate change beyond the theater, using the films as a springboard to further conversation and tangible action.

Description

The day-to-day running of the Green Film Fest 2017 is made possible with the dedication and energy of over 100 green-minded volunteers who help plan and produce our year-round events and the annual festival, scheduled for April 20-26, 2017.

We’re seeking volunteers or interns in the following areas who can help us gear up to celebrate our 7th year of the festival. This is an exciting time to come on board!
