Mission Statement

Description
Our organization is a communtiy based event to raise money for the American Cancer Society. The idea of the Relay for Life is for teams to have a member on the track throughout the entire event. We begin the event with a celebration of our cancer survivors and their caregivers. Later in the evening we have a luminaria celebration to honor those who have lost their battle with cancer and those who are still fighting and are survivors. it is a family friendly event with entertainment, activies throughout the evening, food and most importantly fellowship. The teams raise money throughout the year leading up to the relay. The money raised is used to help people dealing with Cancer in Franklin county, it is also used to help fun research projects and to help with the Hope Lodges.
The event is held at the Upper Arlington High School and is the weekend of June 8th and June 9th.
