Description

Serendipity West Foundation is the vehicle for bringing Challenge Day to Central Oregon middle and high schools, providing administrative support and funding to make the programs a reality.

Challenge Day is an experiential program in which two highly-trained leaders cometo the schools to lead a workshop for students (grades 7-12) and adults, including teachers, staff and community members. School Counselors,

The Challenge Day Program reduces teasing, stereotyping, social oppression, and bullying. It teaches toold for peaceful conflict resolution and increases students' self-esteem, sense of purpose, and integrity. It also builds empathy and community on campus.

Principals and School Resource Officers have documented significant reduction in conflict issues in their schools.
