Mission Statement

We are a not-for-profit, all volunteer, no kill feline rescue organization dedicated to the rescue, treatment, socialization and adoption of felines in need. Our goal is to heal both physically, mentally and emotionally homeless cats and then place them in loving, caring, permenent homes as lifelong companion animals. Our TAR Babies program is a trap-alter-return program dedicated to vaccination and altering of ferals with return to their colonies if they can't be re-socialized for adoption. We will maintina a staff of volunteers willing to care for these colonies for the remainder of their lives.

Description

Merlin's Song was founded on March 3rd of 2003. It was begun in memory of our founder's first feline rescue. Merlin came to her at 11 days of age and remained with her as a faithful companion until he succumbed to cancer at 11 years of age. Many more rescue have come since then. A feline rescue organization has been his mom's dream for many years. This dream is now a reality.
