Mission Statement

Our mision is to protect the natural resources of Puerto Rico's coastal areas, guard our community's quality of life, and raise our neighbours' conscience of the dangers to our coasts.

Description

DAC is a non-profit corporation composed mostly of members from San Juan's coastal neighborhoods who are interested in protecting our beaches. Right now, among other things, we are oposing the construction of a condominium so close to the sea that it obliges a breakwater to protect it. This breakwater will erode Ocean Park and Condado's beaches the same way Condesa del Mar's breakwater erode Punta Las Marías' beaches in the 70's.
