During these uncertain times, how can we help?

Driven by compassion, dignity, and respect, and empowered by committed volunteers, we are a nonprofit organization that provides nutritious food for community members in need.
Friends in Service to Humanity (FISH) OF Vancouver is the largest food pantry in Clark County. The area we serve has the lowest income level in Clark County. Providing over 50 years of uninterrupted service, FISH and its volunteers have become a vital support in providing food for members of the community experiencing hunger.
FISH was founded in 1969 in a small rented space in St. Paul Lutheran Church in downtown Vancouver. On November 3, 2015 we opened the doors of our new and larger facility with a focus on expanding our service delivery to the community. In 2017 -2018 we distributed 100,00 pounds of food to 1,600 households each month to 4,500 adults, children, and seniors.
We thrive thanks to our 180 volunteers who give of their time and talent to support our most vulnerable community members. Last year our dedicated volunteers provided 20,000 hours of service which is the equivalent of over 9 full-time employees!
We are seeking volunteers to help pack produce, dairy and meat products into bags for our contact-free distribution to over 100 clients per day, five days a week. Please contact Dori Miller at dorim@fishvancouver.org or (360)566-3243.
