Through the Rosedale and Crotona Achievement Centers, SBEF fulfills its mission by offering programs and activities in a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that promote academic, cultural, social, personal, and moral growth of youth. SBEF strives to enable these young men and women to become self-confident people of strong character with a positive vision of the future and the necessary skills to achieve their goals. Recognizing the profound dignity and uniqueness of the individual, SBEF believes that every child is a gift worthy of our highest efforts and deepest respect. SBEF's motto, 'Together We Can', reflects the collaboration of staff, parents and volunteers that has made its programs so successful. SBEF has developed its character-building programs based on the fundamental principles of the Judeo-Christian tradition: respect for God and family and respect for marriage and the role of parents in the education of their children
